Booking appointments: 

When booking an appointment for any stylists at the color you will be required to have an updated card on file to book your appointment. Depending on what service you would need to have done some may require a consultation as well as a non refundable deposit for the day that will be serviced. When you come in for your consultation you will sign a waiver acknowledging the policy as well as going over pricing and timing with your stylist.

Cancellations & No Shows:

 Any cancellation / rescheduling in less than the required time frame, will result in a 100% service fee. If you left a deposit you will have forfeited your deposit as well. We require 48 hour notice to reschedule any color service and 24 hour notice for only a haircut or blowout service.

If you are unsure about the appointment that you just booked. Please give us a call at 973.751.1940. Sometimes scheduling and what things are called can be confusing.

We are a small salon and have limited seating so we ask that you do not bring any extra guests to your appointment that are NOT receiving a service. This includes children, family, friends and pets.

We do not offer a late grace period so please be on time to your appointment with color and haircut pictures ready. We also advise that you book your follow up appointments in advance. In the event you are late to your appointment and the stylist cannot accommodate you, you will be charged 100% of the service..

Gift Certificate Policy: 

Gift certificate are non refundable and must be presented at Colour Bar Salon at the time service is rendered. Lost, misplaced, or stolen certificates are not refundable, replaced, nor valid. All certificates have an expiration date and will not be extended past date.
